As poet or spectator, join us for a riveting poetry competition, Olympic-style! Experience the captivating sounds of words as they punch the air. Poets in performance, speaking their personal, political, spiritual, and social thoughts!

When: Sunday, July 20: 2-3:30pm
Where: Mangiamo Bistro Stage
Who Can Participate
Open to all ages and all styles, forms, and subject matter sutiable for a family audience.
Entry Requirement
The poetry must be your own work and peformed without props, costumes, or music. A three-minute minimum applies.
Registration
Sign up at 1:30pm at the Mangiamo Bistro Stage.
Judging
Five judges will be selected from the audience and provided with scoring guidelines and forms.
Fees
You must have a Festival admission bracelet. Otherwise, there's no fee.
Awards & Prizes
Prizes and award certificates will be given out for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in two age categories: 6-12 and 13 and up.
